Dawn of Eden: The Seedheart
Key notes
- Two new regions:
- The Lumen Shore (40): across the Underlake, reached once the Hungering Root is dead. It has glowing beaches, a fungus forest, a wrecked ferry, a drowned temple, and Lanternhold, a colony of delvers who never went home.
- The Seedheart (40+): below the temple, where the first seed of the world is waking and the Hunger’s servants are trying to eat it.
- New dungeon, the Cradle of Roots: a 5-player dungeon with three bosses, the Thornwarden, the Mother of Moths and the Withering.
- Act III story, quests six to ten: finish it to earn the title Seedkeeper. There are also five side quests and three daily bounties.
- Lumen gear (level 40): seven weapons, five off-hands and three new armor sets (Lumenward, Lumenstalker and Lumensong). It sits between the Act II epics and the raid legendaries. You craft it from Lumen Shards, Glowsilk and Seedheart Resin, or win it on Mythic.
- Mythic difficulty: the party leader can switch on Mythic for the Sunken Archive, the Root-Core, the Cradle of Roots and the Verdant Throne. Monsters get 60% more health and hit 30% harder. In return, every drop rolls an extra affix, bosses can drop Lumen gear and Radiant Essence, and Mythic has its own lockouts, separate from Normal.
- Also new:
- Four more secrets. Finding all of them for Loremaster now takes 26.
- New feats: Mythic Delver, Mythic Conqueror, Mythic Raider and Keeper of the First Seed.
Getting there
- Leave the Rootdeep: after you defeat the Hungering Root, Ysolde sends you south across the Underlake on the woven raft.
- Lanternhold: Marisol, the Lantern-Keeper, needs help keeping her lanterns lit.
- The temple: the way down is behind the Temple of the Tide, past the Tide Oracle.
- The Seedheart: at the bottom, the Last Seedkeeper has kept a fire burning for three hundred years, waiting for you.
Mythic
At a dungeon entrance, the leader taps 💀 Switch to Mythic, or types mythic on. Your party then gets its own Mythic copy of the dungeon, and every monster in it shows “Mythic” in its name.
A Normal run and a Mythic run are separate copies with separate lockouts. That means you can clear both every reset.
