Dawn of Eden: The Rootdeep
Key notes
- New region: the Rootdeep (38–40). Act III begins under the Wilted Shrine, where something has been drinking the Mother Root for three hundred years. Eleven rooms, eight new monsters, a new boss, four story quests, side quests, two dailies and the title Rootwarden.
- Gear reinforcement: take any weapon, off-hand, armor or trinket to a forge and reinforce it from +1 to +10. The first four levels always work; after that it’s a gamble, and from +6 a failure drops a level.
- Party finder: post what you want to do (any dungeon, the raid, the Bloom, bounties, arena) and other players can ask to join with one tap. You invite them with one tap.
- Guided tutorial for new survivors: six short steps at the top of Next up, with the right tab glowing.
- Daily login streaks, a bestiary with monster mastery, and a “Next up” guide were added earlier this week.
The Rootdeep
Finish Act II, then head down the stairway under the Wilted Shrine, north of the Bloom Crater. Ysolde the Root-Speaker waits in the Hollow, a delvers’ camp inside a single root, with a forge, kitchen, bank and shrine. Below are glowing veins, still pools with something standing in them, a choir that sings one endless note, a lake nobody has crossed, and an older seed vault than Eden’s. At the bottom is the Hungering Root.
Reinforcement
Open your Bag at a forge (Tinkers’ Yard in Eden, Stilt Camp, Tidewell, Spire Camp, the Hollow, guild halls or a Home Forge), tap any equipped piece, and reinforce it. Each level adds 8% to damage and armor and 10% to its stats. Reinforced gear is bound to you: it can’t be traded, dropped or sold.
Party finder
Social → Party finder. Pick an activity, add a note if you like, and post. Anyone who taps Ask to join shows up on your post with an Invite button.
